This is just about the middle of the Doggles run of comic strips, and I’ve been sharing a strip a day, every day. If you’re new to Doggles, you can find the first one here. Here’s the “cover” to the collection.
This is a strip I put together at the start of 2006. It was my first and only effort to solicit the comic strip syndicates. None of them bought it, and in hindsight, I was whistling past the graveyard anyway. In recent years, newspaper comics have been disappearing due to plunging newspaper sales.
Plus, Doggles is just so damn syrupy sweet, it’s almost disgusting. But in a sweet way.
